Today I received the much awaited shipment of my award for the Best English blog from the vExpert program. The award announcement happened during the vExpert celebration party at VMworld 2021 based on voting from the #vCommunity. Thank you so much VMware, Corey Romero and the vExpert crew for the recognition. Thank you to Nicole from Brandvia for sending the shipment across and my subscribers and vCommunity for the votes.
I started learning and working on NSX during 2019. The product was not that mature at that time. I started blogging around NSX as a way to share my knowledge with the wider community. Each blog took me around 3 days to complete considering the time and effort for home lab setup, testing, visio sketches, write-up and review. Getting licenses was one of the major challenges but my vExpert recognition in 2019 helped me to overcome this. Yes, the licenses for the complete vSphere suite of products is available for 1 year (only for home lab use). Today I have 100+ articles on NSX and I will try my best to continue contributing to the community.
